		The 21st is often called the “century of the environment.”Shinkoh stands at the forefront of electronics technology. We work hard to accurately determine what our customers desire and how we can make them happy, then take action to fulfill such desires. Under our corporate philosophy stressing “professional products and services,” we are constantly asking the question, “How can we incorporate environmental protection into our business activities?” This question, we believe, is the challenge facing each and every Shinkoh employee in the 21st century. In December 1999, we acquired ISO 14001 certification for environmental management systems at our headquarters site. In each of our business divisions, we conduct environmental improvement checks, implement systems for cutting paper usage and saving energy, and undertake other measures in our quest to make environmentally friendly products. Our operations include development, manufacture, and installation of electronic control systems; manufacture of press plate metal components for communications and control equipment; and sale of computers. We build networks, develop related programs, and evaluate and analyze semiconductor devices. We also plan and design advertising and promotional campaigns. In these ways, we develop our business based on a diversified, yet integrated, production system. By developing new technologies, implementing exhaustive quality control measures, and cultivating highly competent staff, we continue providing “professional products and services” that offer peace of mind and reliability. Shinkoh provides environmentally friendly technologies in anticipation that the century ahead will be filled with hope.
